Rare pair of Austrian Viennese bentwood chairs produced by J. and J. John. handcrafted beechwood frames featuring a round handwoven cane seat. Supported by four round legs conjoined by a round stretcher. Each seat is stamped JJ Kohn Austria. Beautiful vintage patina on these original Kohn chairs. Kohn was the largest furniture makers in Austria and one of the biggest competitors of Thonet.

Dimensions: 16"w x 19.5"d x 35"h, Seat 18.5"h

Circa: 1900, Austria

Materials: Bentwood, Beech, Cane

Condition: Good, minor wear consistent with age and use. Good condition given age and use with fair joinery and old repairs. Age appropriate wear on finish.
